Shirley the Barmaid

POETS Day is based inside a typical British Pub set in 2008. This is Shirley the barmaid. Shirley is really good at pulling pints, but cannot pull the guys.

Her character is brought to life by the charasmatic and engaging Denise Bone, who originally played Carole in Grange Hill.

POETS Day is about real people and how they cope with day today life.

Come and see this gritty drama at the Compass Theatre from 31st August to 3rd September 2016.
