Rising star Archie Brookes visited the Worshipful The Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Krishna Suresh, last week to explain his upcoming play POETS Day. The Mayor is a keen supporter of the Arts and firmly supports charities within his community.
POETS Day is a cautionary tale that centres on what can go wrong when a youngster doesn’t have the right support, love or influences around them from an early age.
Archie plays the demanding role of the inner child that has to be listened to and is also keen to help Barnardo’s in their charitable work.
Barnardo’s, the charity that boasts 150 years of caring for children, has partnered with the play so that 100% of the net profit from tickets will go to support their projects.
With POETS Day’s rapidly expanding popularity, ticket sales are moving fast, so it is advisable for group bookings to purchase soon!
The show will be on at the Compass Theatre, Ickenham from 31st August to 3rd September 2016.
